Harstad Park Pavilion

We had the privilege of providing structural engineering services for the timber pavilion at Harstad County Park. Collaborating closely with Mark Turner of Turner Constructs, we worked diligently to bring the vision for the pavilion to life. The standout feature of the pavilion is its distinctive hammer beam type truss, which not only adds a unique aesthetic element but also provides practical advantages. This design choice allows for increased headroom, creating a more spacious and comfortable environment for park visitors to enjoy.

To complement the striking design, we incorporated a standing seam metal roof that offers both durability and visual appeal. The standing seam metal roof not only enhances the pavilion's architectural excellence but also ensures long-term protection against the elements. This combination of design and structural integrity results in a remarkable pavilion that serves as a focal point within Harstad County Park. Whether visitors seek shelter from the sun or gather for community events, the pavilion stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of aesthetics and functionality achieved through our collaboration.
